Cathy Stelling

Founder, Development Executive

Cathy Stelling is a producer from New Jersey.

She went to Rowan University, where she studied to be a teacher. Stelling spent a semester studying abroad at the University of Dundee before graduating in 2009 with a degree in English and Secondary Education. She has always had a passion for writing and theater, but she was drawn into education because of an equal passion for sharing her love of story-telling with others.

While working at Triton Regional High School, she met Juwan Chambers as his Junior year English teacher. The two's friendship began after Chambers asked her to revise his screenplays and she asked him to join the musical as the Student Director/Stage Manager.

After he graduated, Stelling continued to help develop and revise his scripts and ideas and was approached to co-found Switch Up Entertainment in 2016. Since then, she became a mother and retired from teaching to pursue a career in finance, all while serving as a development executive for Switch Up. As a development executive, she will identify and develop potential film, TV, audio, and digital material, while overseeing all things created or acquired by Switch Up Entertainment.
